I contacted Metro GDS to address an urgent situation where my garage was stuck open with broken wheels, a bent track, and what appeared to be a bent, broken door. I assumed that I was looking at having to buy a new door and motor. Fortunately, I called Metro GDS and the owner, Ayal, was at my home less than 90 minutes later. Although he could have easily upcharged me for expensive repairs or a new door, he quickly assessed the situation, clearly described the fairly modest repairs that were needed, and had the repairs made and the garage working beautifully in about a half hour. He was prompt, competent, efficient, responsive to questions, friendly, and very fair with respect to pricing. I’d use him again without hesitation for future garage door issues or for the gate, fencing, and other services he provides. ~ Drew E

I own 2 houses on 1 lot in Eagle rock. When the front electric gate got stock (along with the tenants wanting to go out with their cars DURING CHRISTMAS!) I needed to act fast. After a few calls made, I decided to give a chance to Eyal at Metro GDS. From the get go he gave me the impression that I will not be taken advantage of, with those type of vague engine problems, Company owners take advantage at times I can assume, But Metro GPS was the complete opposite. not only they came in 3 hours during the Holidays, they also fixed the gate and charged me not a $ more than $150! They also recommended a few additional things for the future well being of the gate, which will cost about $200, but he said I could wait for the next time the gate will cause a problem, What a guy. I called Metro G D S when I got home from work and noticed that the garage door would only open about 5 inches and would then close. I contacted the owner, David, who was very professional on the phone. He asked if it could wait until the next morning, but I wanted it repair that night because I was at home plus my wife's preference was that I was there. He agreed to come by and repair it that night, and drove 45 minutes in after work traffic to get to my house. He arrived promptly, assess the problem (broken spring), gave me the estimate, and repaired it within a hour. I was very pleased with the work that he did plus his professionalism and would recommend him to others. ~ Chris C

I am the Owner/Manager of a Property Management Co. and it's very rare that I feel compelled to write a review for a vendor I've used, because most don't measure up. However, Ayal with Metro GDS has been exceptional in his dedication to his work, he follows up and is most always available, and he is very fair about not doing work that's not needed. He saved my clients quite a bit of money by identifying a problem that other date company's didn't (like Signature - DON'T use them, I warn you!) - others were way off, at a ridiculous price. My experience with Metro GDS was 5 Star from the moment the dispatcher answered my call. She quickly gathered the relevant information and I received a callback from the technician about 60 seconds later. He showed up in 1 hour (on a Saturday) as promised. After completing the requested repair by replacing the worn parts on my garage door, he examined the door and readjusted two tortion springs, realigned and stabilized the electric eye sensors which have been getting misaligned frequently and added a wood screw to shore up a cross board that had pulled free from its original staples. My 30-something-year old door is now ready for the next 30 years. ~ David S

Excellent end to end service. Ayal came out and helped plan the installation of 1. Gate Opener 2. Door security system ( DoorBird) 3. Two Garage doors and openers and 4. Fob for automatic opening of exit gate. I had obtained bids from 3 other companies, two quoted over the phone, third one came and took a hurried look. Installations by Metro GDS were done on time and on budget. Ayal patiently walked me through the Apps and connected and tested everything before he left. Had an awesome experience! I called him at 3pm and he said he would arrive between 4pm and 5pm. He was perfectly on time and professional. He gave me an estimate right away before he started for a pretty big repair. He needed to do a lot of welding to fix the gate and he did it right in the spot. He also kept his estimate 100% and dint try to charge more afterwards. He not only fixed the issue but also repaired all the other issues. I had a really good experience and I can highly recommend it. Don’t go anywhere else. When I called for assistance, Dave answered and was very pleasant, clear to understand, patient and understanding of my problem. Dave, came to my home the following day, as I needed immediate repair. He not only fixed my swinging gate problem, he also adjusted my automatic gate opener. I was so relieved to have had Dave fix my problem. David was an incredible asset to my rental business in keeping my properties electric gate alive and working. David is always on time, available to come in emergency, very reasonable $, and doesn't try to have you buy expensive parts and repairs. I have nothing but positive feedback for this company, and the technician, Dave. Dave was on time, professional & knowledgeable about what was needed for my very old, heavy, long, wrought iron driveway gate. He assessed the problem within ten minutes or less, and came prepared to do what was needed to correct the problem of gate being out of alignment which caused the locks & closer mechanism to be out of sync. He cut, welded frame, tightened screws and almost repainted, but he didn’t have primer color…dang! lol. Seriously, he went above & beyond the scope of work and now, my gate opens/closes smoothly and locks securely. I so appreciate his expertise, because the day before, I had another company come out to give an estimate, and the guy told me I needed new hinges, etc., and his price was double what I paid with Metro GDS! I think Metro service was priced fairly. I highly recommend this company and Dave, for fencing repairs. They also repair garage doors/panels and install fencing . Dave came out to my house while I was at work’ to preform maintenance on my gate opener. He came at a short notice and I really appreciate that. I was in a tight spot and had to work and couldn’t be home. He got my gate opener back up in running’ I was able to come home and pull into my yard using my remote. Best service ever! Our usual vendor is closed on the weekends and we were in a bind to get our condo garage gate fixed and this company answered and arrived onsite within one hour. Dave was GREAT. He came over the same day I called him and replaced my garage door opener. My garage was a MESS but he worked around it. He even helped me move some boxes. His price was OUTSTANDING. Just wanted to say that Metro Garage Door and Gates is an excellent business that does quality work. Although my repair job wasn't too complicated, Dave the repair tech and company owner did an outstanding job. To start, he actually established a reasonable appointment date within two days of my call and then showed up on time! Not only did he did he come out quickly to bid the job, but he also came out the very next day to do the repair after he was given the work. Then, after Dave completed the install, he contacted me as a follow up to see if the repairs were functioning properly (a new gate closer). When I told him that there were some minor closing adjustment issues, he offered and then came back out to adjust and fine tune the closer a second time without any hesitation. In closing, Dave is a stand-up guy and great businessman that still understands the meaning of good customer service. Our garage door was having problems opening, so we called Metro GDS and they were over to inspect the problem very quickly. It didn't take long for them to see what was wrong and we made an appointment for the next day to put in new garage door motors.
